Voting Forum Shutdown
January 02 2026
Hi everyone,
I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad news first:
We’re shutting down the New Features Voting Forum.
When we launched the Reverb and Echosystem back in 2016/2017, we loved that we could update them with new firmware. Customers could suggest ideas, we’d build them, and everyone got these new features for free.
The Voting Forum helped us organize those ideas, and it worked beautifully for a while. We implemented over 60 ideas, including the Reverb and Echosystem loopers, shareable presets, and the ZOIA sampler.
But over time, it just became too much to manage. Thousands of users, countless comments, and a constant stream of ideas meant we were spending more time sorting through requests than actually building new products.
It was a success in how much we learned from you, but a failure in how hard it was to keep up with you in a meaningful way.
All this said, closing the Voting Forum doesn’t mean that we’re going to stop listening to you.
I just think that there’s better ways for you and us to communicate.
Onto the good news:
New firmware updates are out now with some of the most-requested ideas from the Forum!
The Reverb gets a new Spring mode and a Spring + Tremolo mode (the Echosystem gets this mode too).
ZOIA’s Granular module now supports 4- and 16-second grain sizes (up from the previous 1 second).
I’ve put this decision off for a very long time, and that’s pretty lame. I’m sorry to disappoint anyone that really loved the idea of the Voting Forum. I loved it too.
I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the Voting Forum over the years. I do really appreciate it, and I hope you like this latest firmware that we just put out. Go to our website, download it, and tell us what you think!
