Why is the Empress Drive Buffered Bypass only?

To be short, buffered bypass sucks if your buffers suck. Luckily, ours don't! 

True bypass requires relays or clunky switches that are prone to failure or popping noises. Buffered bypass eliminates these issues, plus you can drive longer lengths of cable without signal loss. 

This decision was made with much deliberation; ultimately, we thought that this was the best way forward!
