General

The Buffer++ is a direct evolution of the Stereo Buffer+. Internally, they’re very similar, but we realized the name “Stereo Buffer+” never truly reflected what the pedal could do. It wasn’t just a stereo buffer. It was a utility hub: a problem-solver for complicated rigs with switching, summing, and loop-routing needs.

We brought the pedal back with a new name to better represent what it is: a full-featured utility pedal, not just a stereo buffer. We also redesigned the graphics and rewrote the manual to make setup and configuration more intuitive.

There are two functional differences between the Buffer++ and the Stereo Buffer+:

  • Mode 7 (Momentary Loop Select) and Mode 8 (Momentary Loop Sum) are brand-new additions in the Buffer++. These give you more expressive control over the FX loops, especially in live or dynamic setups.

  • Modes 11 and 12 replace the FX Loop-focused modes found on the Stereo Buffer+. We removed those to make space and make the Buffer++ a more cohesive front-of-amp utility pedal.

So if you’re wondering why it’s back, it’s because people kept telling us it was the only thing that worked for their rig. We listened, we streamlined it, and we gave it a name that better matches what it really is.
